Richard X
Bennett

Pianist and composer whose work traverses bebop, jump blues, and avant-garde without apology. His catalog of original compositions is expansive, restless, and deeply rooted in the jazz tradition. Parker Plays X, his first co-led recording with Matt Parker, showcases twelve Bennett originals played with urgency and wit by a quartet at the top of their game.

The Candy
Shop Boys

A burlesque, cabaret, vaudevillian act built around the viper jazz songs of the 1920s and '30s. King Oliver. Fats Waller. Cab Calloway. Duke Ellington. Plus clever arrangements of rock classics, because why not. A small orchestra that sounds like nothing else: jazz and mischief fused at the source. Their moment in John Wick (2014) is the most-heard saxophone Matt Parker has played, and their debut album Sugarfoot Stomp returns September 25, remixed and remastered on BYNK Records with unreleased tracks.
